Kelly Nicole was an exceptionally talented hard rock musician.  The composer, frontman, and lead guitarist in her band, she had overcome numerous life-threatening health challenges from anorexia to PTSD as well as a heart condition to arrive at the cusp of releasing her debut album, Hate Becoming. She had labored over the project, her life's work, for over a decade until February 2015, six months after her honeymoon she was diagnosed with metastatic ovarian cancer.  She fought bravely for her life but declined suddenly that Summer, dying on her second wedding anniversary.  

Kelly heard her masterpiece, Hate Becoming for the first time the day before she died.

To honor her, some of Kelly's closest friends and family have formed the Kelly Nicole Foundation.  It is a nonprofit that sells Kelly Nicole's music and donates the money annually to advance our mission of supporting trauma survivors and those with eating disorders.

At the end of every year, Kelly’s wife will walk thru the door of an organization that is transforming lives, with a check in one hand, and Kelly’s posthumous debut album in the other, hand them both to the leader and say “Meet Kelly Nicole.”
