We’ve got some ethereal techno coming direct from France to kick-start the week. Purple Records present their debut VA and we have the pleasure of hosting a premiere for Corsen who sprinkles breakbeats across deviating arpeggios and euphoric string sections for a heavenly piece of ecstasy-laced techno.

The debut release from French imprint PURPLE RECORDS lands later this week. The first offering is a VA entitled Auralite 23 and it showcases the label’s vision of portraying positive vibrations in harmony with body and mind through music. The label strives for authenticity and hopes that listeners and contributors will feel that from the moment it’s created to the moment it’s listened to, it becomes that outlet so sought-after by dancers.

Music breaks down boundaries, creates encounters, and amplifies our emotions and thoughts: Auralite 23 is first and foremost a journey that we give ourselves, but that we need to share with others. Communicate, explore, and let yourself go!

We premiere music from Brest-based techno artist and live-act Corsen. The French DJ and producer supplies a slick offering that is oozing in euphoric techno power. Delicate breakbeats play across low-end power, while Corsen drizzles ascending arpeggios across the face of the track. An anathematic string section is the star of the show here, making this an ultimate club weapon for the early hours of the morning. Hands in the air, clutching your friends as smoke scatters across a dingy warehouse club, this is the kind of soul-stirring techno that brings a tear to the eye.
