This music is inspired in part by our association with Hugh Metcalfe, founder of the legendary Klinker club. During its 30-year lifespan, The Klinker acquired a reputation as London's leading forum for free improvisation and marginal music and performance. Hugh put us on the bill there several times between 2006 and 2008. These bootleg recordings - made on minidisc - are taken from live performances at the club, or from rehearsals (mainly) during the same period.
