“Live in squares/ Жити в квадратах” is inspired by the works of Kateryna Kosiak (@katerinakosiak.art) which tell stories of life in imaginary and real spaces. Boundaries that offer security and protection in times of fear, loneliness, loss and confusion. 

All these feelings and the desire for boundaries are intensified under the circumstances of the war in Ukraine, as safe places are lost. People are losing their inner or outer home. A sense of home is lost. At the same time, these losses also give rise to new forms of solidarity, cohesion and identity.

Kateryna is a ukrainain artist, born in Kyiv, 1984 and she lives and works in Irpin City. The styles in which mostly she works are symbolism, realism, while the types of arts are painting, graphics and graphic printing techniques.

"This selection of musical tracks reflects the emotional moods of Ukrainians today. It ranges from calm minimalism to emotional outbursts. Minimal techno is interwoven with the emotionality of Svitlana Nianio, then the musical tracks become increasingly glitchy and melt more and more. There are flashes and flashbacks to the carefree nature of reggae and nostalgic jazz, diving into lyricism and sadness. And there is a constant road, always moving forward. Never stop...."
