Down To the Sea

Intervju za radio Maestral / Pula

I am Branislava Joković Bana, singer- songwriter moving through indie, down-tempo and art pop genres.
My instrument is a piano. Instead of playing chords, my uniqueness is playing with vocal lines for which I create supportive phrases on the piano. Also, in my performances I sometimes play original cover songs, time to time changing their harmonic progression or vocal lines.

I had noticed performances at music festivals such as – Karusel (Cacak), CantOut (Belgrade), Vibe (Brussels), Tour Music Fest (Switzerland) and my song "Your lies" is on the latest online female bands compilation "Femikseta 7". 

In May 2019, I signed a contract with the record company Menart Srbija. Soon after, the first single "Your Lies" was released as the announcement of my debut EP "Blackjack tango".

“Blackjack Tango” consists of four songs, of which I composed the songs "Fall Leaves", "Blackjack Tango" and "Down To the Sea". For the song "Your Lies", the music was written by Nenad Stefanovic Japanac, Serbian remarkable bass player who is also the producer of the project.
