I often think of classic 1970s tv show 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘕𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘬𝘦𝘳,
from its funky score to the comedic horrors involved,
making it a huge influence on my comic book heroes

perspective think a pretentiously
intended 'reinvention' of both Soviet and Japanese funk -- unmastered, lo-fi but my personal hats-off to Darren McGavin, and hopefully the eerie lack of audio quality control would make THE MAN proud. ;)
