Rising UK producer Koldar presents 'Love U' (Koldar's Edit), his debut release on Foreign Language Records.

Rundown houses with obnoxious sound systems, 100 capacity basement clubs and random kitchen afters have all inspired the sound that Electric Ray aims to showcase.

His debut release 'Luv U' plans to do just that, with classic breakbeat drums layered over a heavy 4x4 kick and a thick pumping bass-line. Italian based producer ProOne79 is on remix duties supplying a classic house sound to round things off.

Van Derand - Propagation Emulation For TAL-U-No-LX


Van D got knee deep into audio emulation while working on his master's thesis for University of Lapland. His research concentrated on auditive qualities of a music composition. Instead of traditional music analysis, his research was executed by a method of auditory observational research. The study was guided by the disciplines of acoustics and psychoacoustics. The aim of the study was to provide a new perspective on contemporary music research.

Now Van D has united with The Patchbay to study and emulate various compositions which hold certain importance in the synthesizer oriented scene. His second research concerns Com Truise's boundary breaking, genre defying Propagation released within his 3rd album Iteration. This "Wistful Space Ballad", as artist Seth Haley himself describes on self-titled magazine, is an unique crossbreed of Synthwave and Hip-Hop. Com Truise is well known for his exceptional style and use of complex rhythmic sequences.

Emulation series focus on reverse engineered sounds, programmed from init patch with and for only one synthesizer at a time. This forms an intriguing challenge, since every synthesizer has its own qualities and limitations. In a reverent manner, the emulation packages only contain original presets programmed by Van D. If any essential techniques have been used externally to accomplish the reconstructed emulation, separate text file will be included with necessary guidelines. 

Any violation of rights should never be directed to the original owners. This is why the packages do not include MIDI or any samples from the original composition. Main objective of the series is merely to offer knowledge and insight for music makers on how to produce certain styles by offering accurately reverse engineered presets.

Propagation Emulation comes with 10 presets programmed for TAL-U-No-LX software synthesizer.  These presets include:

Hanzo & Yaman - Pranky [Zone Focus]

"Danger & Love in Paradise" is an amalgamation of the British label Zone Focus' cultural fascinations. Inspired by the likes of Vice City, Drive and Giorgio Moroder, for their annual themed compilation project, they sought out artists that create and craft neo-nostalgic sounds. A retro musical direction drove the selection process, pulling tracks from Italo Disco and Indie Dance genres. Each of the twelve hand-picked artists added a distinctive sonic uniqueness to the album. Cosmic, groovy, and melodic club-ready works, all designed to timewarp the aural sense. Among the artists invited to the compilation, some personal favourites of ours: Vanity Project, Alex Aguayo, Hanzo & Yaman (SXDNS065), and Fabio Me Llaman Soltero (SXDNS187).

The track we chose to premiere, by Alex Aguayo, is an energetic and vibrant Italo/Cosmic Disco-influenced masterpiece. "Don't Let Go" is one of those tunes that possess an aura so vivid and frantic that it is kind of forbidden to listen to it without delivering yourself to dance. Even alone in your living room or balcony: Just do it!

on When Worlds Collide, which was inspired by Carl Sagan novel Pale
Blue Dot and also by eponym 1951 Rudolph Maté's movie. Thomas Barrandon
once again asserts his retro-futuristic universe, a synthwave revisited somewhere
between Vitalic, Make Up and Vanity Set, Moderat or Brian Eno. Inspired this
time by the poetic images of Michel Ocelot’s cinema, he evokes the discovery
by two spacemen of a new blue planet, discovering its richness, its fauna and
its dangers.

For specific projects artists and people involved may be chosen directly and your decision to cooperate, agree on the conditions and any misuse of copyrights will be on your own will and reputation. 

Main purpose is to set up simple and effective process for colaborations on music projects including managing roles, guarantee rights of artists that measurably contributed to the final output based on a prior scheme agreement, distribution (technically to enable simple authors revenue split and management) and function as access point (just technically) for promotions. 

PLEASE try to follow at least BASIC main organization rules based on info received as it will extremely help efficiency to ALL and be responsive and HONEST especially at some agreed scheduele), communication etiquette within people involved and respect copyrights(especially by providing at least main sources of your inputs and saving them too). Side project to your main activities is WELCOME as it is pretty much the idea overall to connect, improve and have fun.

Its needed to follow some basic rules and agree on main issues not to complicate things, but to make interractions efficient and clear so when the project is finished all is clear and no "papers" are needed(maybe just final confirmation of all artists that contribueted to the result to the final release). 

Even closed project (if necessary) can lead to new ones and all unimplemented artist inputs will be stored in case it might be useful with some other project  and your credits will be acknowledged automatically (unless you delete the inputs NOT USED within a specific project or want to use them personally in your own or other project).

Some music is promoted (independently) to split the production and streaming projects!

Any other available technical support, recommendations and agreements will be provided. 

Temporary project managment system (effective with Microsoft - Onenote app)- operation system (use if helpful to you or any project). The core OS is being developed by **Verso*Tech to simply connect with any system or process. Everything is a project!
