Singing is something I always did along with my favorite artists growing up. It wasn't until I picked up a guitar and sang along with it in 2009 that I really resonated and felt liberated in my expression and started songwriting.  Poetry and lyrical writing I hold close to my heart and have been doing that my entire life. While a lot of my work lacks structure, the improvisational lyrics that I express I could not replicate and are first takes on the tunes I make up. I find a freedom in reaching a creative peak in the phrasing or words and mantra that come out as song.  The concept of improvisational song and the feeling of expression through singing is up there with the greatest feelings on earth to me. To achieve that message and feeling through music is a love of mine. I am largely inspired by Jerry Garcia and  the music of The Grateful Dead. The guitar skills I have not grasped and are almost laughable to myself. The guitar is something I have not focused enough variation on and does not come easy to me.  Having a place to share recorded tracks is a way for me to share the groove. All of these songs I made up as I recorded them aside from the cover tunes. Thanks for listening!
