So pleased to finally release this.  Bill wrote this poignant heartfelt prose on the folly of Whaling,  a subject close to many people's hearts including mine. He offers tale of an oil spill and 13 whales who make an ultimate sacrifice to save the day. I added instrumental to the tale and we both took turns to narrate. Facts about Whaling
Around 35,000  –  whales killed since the 1986 international moratorium on commercial whaling came into effect.
130 – number of western north Pacific gray whales in existence. Only around 30 are females of breeding age, making this one of the world’s most endangered whale species.
330,000 – blue whales killed in the Southern Ocean before the ban on commercial whaling. Today, there are thought to be only 2,300 blue whales left in the whole Southern Hemisphere.

For the June 2023 edition of COPYPASTE, I welcome two guests. First up: Freesi.
Freesi is a DJ/Beatmaker from Hamburg. His sound is inspired by his roots in the Freestyle dance scene and club culture. 

He is a genrefluid DJ whose sound is composed of genres such as House, Disco, Funk, UKG and Alternative Afrobeats. He performs for national and international dance battles and theatre performances. In Hamburg he is resident DJ at PALLAS, MO'JAMS at Mojo Jazz Café and Pelican Bar. 

Internationally, he has already played in Tel Avis clubs such as Sputnik and Kuli Alma. As a beatmaker, he released his first EP "More Soup" in 2020 on the Berlin label Block Opera.

Polyte is a music producer based in Belgium. He started producing in 2015. Known for his edits, he has had many opportunities to play at local festivals, radio stations and parties.

This is a cover version of the Ljungblut song "Facades" that I did together with Chai Deveraux of Jesus On Extasy. It appeared on the fan tribute CD "Under A Migraine Sky - A Fan Tribute To Kim Ljung" in December 2011.
