Grunvald assimilate sounds from 80's synth-pop through to 00's indie-rock to formulate a heady cocktail of both 'fresh' & 'familiar'. Best served over crushed ice with a slice of unwaxed lemon.

Their latest single, "My Addiction", is a haunting tribute to the 80's film and book Zoo Station (Christiane F. starring non other than David Bowie). The track delves into the dark, turbulent journey of a young girl lost in the grip of heroin addiction amidst the chaotic streets of Berlin. With it's evocative lyrics and powerful melodies, "My Addiction" captures the essence of despair and the search for escape.  

At the helm is Laura, the band's frontwoman and songwriter, who crafts emotionally charged tracks that blend melancholic indie vibes with gritty rock energy. Laura draws her musical inspiration from the likes of Wolf Alice, Paramore, Orla Gartland, Foo Fighters, Bloc Party, and Franz Ferdinand. Laura's style is a sonic collage of modern influences that detail love and heartbreak, set against a backdrop of daily strife & eternal optimism that juxtapose and bind our modern livelihoods. 

The band's chemistry is undeniable: Harry's dynamic drumming infuses each song with infectious indie rock rhythms, while Oliver's bass lines lay down a deep, resonant groove that combines with the beat to enslave your soul. Arrian, on lead guitar, elevates the band's sound with electrifying riffs that add a thrillingly unique twist and provide dark, fascinating edges of beauty.
