Different Light- 15 Nov 2024-Puppets on Parade

The Monkey Club (Mark Moser and I) created this track one night beginning with some Edsel Martin dulcimers. Guitars, banjos, a sampled harmonica lowered an octave or two -all added to the magic. A few weeks later the Alash Ensemble boys from Tuva(http://www.alashensemble.com/) dropped by via Dollywood (-!?) and were inspired to add some throat singing in my office studio. In the meantime the amazing Donny Lewis (Sons of Ralph) laid some fiddle on it in the Monkey Club Studios. When we combined the tracks it was like Donny and Alash had been in the room together when they recorded their parts. Yes, the world is a magical place.
