Skin V, for solo voice, is part of a series of pieces dedicated to a different instrument. The piece slowly sprouts from simple breathing that turns into singing and then develops in the central part through a frenetic and rhythmic phase based on the combination of gestures-sound and body percussion. In the last part, the discourse gathers in a simple and lyrical song delicately accompanied by the sound of 2 rattlesnakes variously struck together. The text consists of various sources: “lasciatemi morire” (Monteverdi), a couple of lines from RŪMĪ, some words from the last words of Shakespeare’s Ophelia and lines from a poem by Emily Dickinson.

Memory Index 3035 is part of an ongoing series of sonic explorations that will eventually become an EP. In this piece, I continue to delve into the psychoacoustics of noise modulated by rhythm, and how this tension creates a perceptual need for melody. What fascinates me most is that these melodies don’t actually exist — they emerge from each listener’s unique auditory universe, built through personal memory and perception.

Microhm is the experimental electronic music project of Mexican artist Leslie García. Her work fuses electroacoustic and electronics, with avant-garde sound design, creating immersive compositions that explore rhythm, distortion, and psychoacoustics. With releases on labels like Infinite Machine and Terminal, Microhm has carved out a distinct voice in the experimental club scene. Her performances and DJ sets blend emotional intensity with conceptual depth, offering deep sonic experiences. Microhm is a laboratory of sound where technology, affect, and speculation converge.

"My set recording from this past Summer's Honcho Campout was a very important one for me as I've been attending the festival since 2016, and from that, made a lot of friends, reunited with childhood ones and grew closer as part of the bigger family. Lots of love to the whole Campout crew!

This set is a reflection of inputs starting from 1998-2001 sitting in my room, downloading files in the background on dial-up 24/7 in my old college apartment and then pulling ripped vinyl from my travel hauls, to sounds given to me in the past year."
