In the begining all that mattered was to survive

The church lost its power, there was a need for proof 
Then we started to explore and meshure evrything
And put it in books and boxes
And soon technology and science turned into the new God!

This is the time of the spiritual revolution

Each generations skills are growing and growing and growing
Fenomenons like intuition are getting known
General level of the education,knowledge and the comon conciousness
Is increasing constantly
The last century we built our soceity with the goal to be materialistic free
Buton the way we got so buisy and greedy 
that we almost forgot to love and to care 
and develop our inner dimention and souls

though we now have machines to do our work
we`re still more stressed and have less time than ever
we in the west should use our surplus and technology to help the third world
and pay back what we once stole to build our empire!

Spiritual revolution

The Univerzals is a legendary Pychedelic space worldrock  band, or should I say Institution, wich goes all the way back to 1994. The Music platform is built around the merging of the songs of Nicholas Hill and the enchanting saxophone playing of  Anders Honore!
Through the times more than 33 people have been in and out of this turbulent and intense band, wich after several unofficial releases, finally released their first official Album Ocean of Light in 2009, on Spacerock Productions
where synth wizard Mogens Pedersen joined for the release tour. 
In 2012 they released their second Official Album The last interspace gypsies and since then they  have been touring in Spain, Denmark and Germany under the name The Univerzals and from 2010 to 2016 the members have been functioning as the musical core of the spacerock impro institution Oresund Space Collective, with wich they have recorded and toured most of Europe and Played festivals like Burg Hertzberg, Freak Valley, Roadburn, Roskilde, Ocultrance, Psychedelic network, kildemose, Reverance and last but not least Pyscho Las Vegas.
In these years Nicolas has recorded more than 250 musical sketches wich has now been refined into 190 demos and they are now preparing for going in the studio in April 2019 to the record 
the third Full studio album entitled
Chaos and Extacy!

The musical and lyrical concept of The Univerzals is profoundly inspired by the Surrealists of the 20th centurys, perception of realities  and their approach to tapping into the infinite sphere of all authentic creation, through the dream state and the unconscious, without the limiting interference of the intellect and the mind.

The greatest goal and definition of music and artistical success, is to make people forget time and space and everything around them!
More than chasing the next trend, what really matters  is the following qualities…..Unconditional, Timeless and Universal….
wich The Univerzals to this day aspire towards, humbly aware of the fact that it is an eternal journey……

In order to accomplish that, an other essential part of the concept is, to be unlimited by musical genres.
Not to show of, or to display how many styles they master, but rather to use the genres as dynamic and atmospheric tools, like a painter would have all the colors at his her disposal to enhance the different nuances!
F.eks Latin,Afro, Balkan inspired rhythms played with heavypunkrock energy, mixed with the, harmony, ambience and technology of the western musical roots,
mixed with melodies inspired by the highly refined Indian and middle eastern melodic tradition!
The structure of the music is also a mix between composed,written parts and semi arranged progressions and totally free improvisation!
The best of all worlds…… like a lot of goapsytrance but played with REAL instruments!

Last but not least the surreal approach is evident in the lyrics with in many ways can be perceived as political, 
but in the context of the NEW EARTH PARADIGME!
The state of the world is a reflection or a mirror of the state of the collective counciousness
and therefore how we conduct our inner worlds have a direct influence on the physical tangible world, for the good ,bad and ugly.
To include a spiritual and psychological perception in politics, would be wise…
