Garden Jamming

This pop-song is heavily inspired by my trip to New York in the end of November 2023. One day I took a walk to the house where John Lennon was shot and I also felt very heavy because we had been drinking quite a lot in the previous evening at Jimmy's Corner. Hence it was a relatively slow walking trip through Midtown and Central Park, luckily the weather was fine. :)
After returning home I went to a guitar shop and bought the same model of an acoustic guitar that John used to play. So, I didn't have too many options but to write a letter to John Lennon. This is a demo that came out after constructing the song by my usual way. It would need some re-recordings and a couple of changes in some details, if I ever wanted to make a proper version out of it, but here is what there is as of now.

Here's a little song for Dutch coffeeshops. The song reminds me somehow of Syd Barrett and Daevid Allen styles and yes, I had a lot of fun making it. The song itself popped out in one minute and recording was also a very quick operation. Just don't take it too seriously. :)

This two person band is called Glarea Sonos as we live in the area where a ridge of gravel is a common sight. Minna takes care of vocals and I try to play some instruments. Enjoy!
