On Blackout Serenades — his first EP in 2024 — he makes this pledge ring ever more true, steam rolling the techno firmament with a diverse system of sonorous weaponry that shows him comfortably handling different floor moods, both raw and festive. Case in point, you can't go wrong with Call Me Nation's zany ecstasy, Back Alley Niceties' immersive flirtation, Sugar Me Raw's irresistible slickness and True At First Lie's quasi-tropical assault. Music is better off speaking for itself. But this year promises to be one of elevated creative acuity for Kuiper Noise's frontman.

A DJ, producer, and designer hailing from Medellín and currently based in Bogotá, Sara embarked on her DJing journey in 2019, making her debut at Salon Amador. With a focus on tribal techno, raw, and hypnotic beats, Sara's sessions are infused with percussion, filling the dance floor with groove and Latin rhythms.As a member of the El Marikoneo collective, Sara contributes to the techno movement, aiming to spotlight creatives across Latin America and create safe dance spaces for women and members of the LGBTQ+ community. The EP consists of two tracks fueled by an infectious groove and her perception of what Techno should be.

Tessen were folding fans with concealed outer spokes made of heavy iron plates. Some swordsmanship schools provided training of the tessen as a weapon. Besides using the razor-sharp spokes as an attacking tool, the tessen was also used as a throwing weapon, for fending off knives and darts and as a swimming aid. Samurai could also secretly take them to places where overt weapons were not allowed.
