IRENEE S is known for blending different musical styles and genres, plus incorporating live percussion into his shows for an extra dimension of energy and excitement. This inspiration for this EP was found during the month of Ramadan. He spent a month in the studio creating melodic and catchy sounds, whilst revisiting his Techno past which he combined with tribal influences to create a powerful energy. Earlier this year Sean and Amber aka Kakura made their Manual Music debut by releasing the well received single 'Witcher' / 'Vermillion' and now they are back with another excellent double A-sider.

'Dakha' is the opening track, a tribal infused intense melodic track with a clear warehouse / modern day rave vibe. 'Kalimba' continues on the same path, full of tribal rhythms and roaring synths. These guys truly have a unique timeless sound which isn't easy to pigeonhole.

First up on remix duties it's Lex Ludlow known for her output on Atomnation and her own BØXBØX imprint. She's the perfect addition to this single because she's also wary of trends and clichés. Her interpretation of Dakha is just pure deep underground electronic music as it should be.

The release ends on a positive note with Amir Telem's uplifting remix. Created around a warm synth theme, this melodic tension builder gets you right in the mood for an Indian summer.

Additionally, "Galactic Echoes" has received remix treatments by Akiva, who recently contributed an original track to Sound Avenue's second "Dimension" compilation, and by J.Khobb, another artist featured on the compilation who has released several tracks across the Sound Avenue labels.

Once again we bring you the Joy of Six, as another half dozen belters roll off the Selador conveyor belt, and once again the Quality Control knob is switched all the way up to 11. It’s another truly global showcase too, with no less than four continents and seven countries represented.

So here we go Seladorians everywhere, Part 2 of 3!
