We head across to Berlin for the ninth Odyssey edition, curated by Disguised.

The German duo, consisting of Alvaro and Domenik, came together back in 2015 discovering their love for hard hitting techno and begin work on their own productions. The duo's main inspiration comes from artists such as Mall Grab, Alignment and Hadone with hints of this displayed throughout their releases.

The duo co-founded "INHERIT", a Berlin-based record label alongside Daniel Heinrich, contributing several of their own EPs to the label's discography, the most recent of which was released in late 2022 titled "Ace Up The Sleeve" - consisting of groovy, driving drums and hypnotic synths. The duo have also featured on labels such as Deadline, AKRONYM and more recently Ode To Youth - a remix of Liam Mour's "Can't Get You Off My Mind"

Disguised's hour-long mix includes music by Raffaele Attanasio, DJ Dextro, Axel Karakasis and many more.

We welcome happily Jaki. With his natural talent that organically climbs along different branches, escalating and deescalating through different music genres, he has created an innovative soundscape. Here he is delivering a DJ set, with a strong nuance of Hard House and Groove elements. With an hypnotic mixing style that elongates transitions, our mind is tripping and our body is shaking to this artistic piece!

After taking a nearly year long slumber... Divine Species Records is back and we're making up for the break (one track per month to be exact 😉)

Even though we have been pretty silent on the label since our January release of CAMERA SHY, that doesn't mean that our residents haven't been hard at work. New collaborative projects have been formed, lots of tracks have been made, and plans for 2024 are looking bright.

But to prove we haven't forgotten about you, we wanted to give you a little end of the year present in the form of an 11 track VA, all from our DVSP residents!

To make it even more special, the artwork for the VA is the final piece of the puzzle we began to put together last year. Take a closer look and you'll see a little piece of everyone that released in 2022, many many thanks to our wonderful artist Lisa Bender for creating all of the incredible artwork 🤍

Gina Demarchi, a 26-year-old DJ artist and producer from Buenos Aires, Argentina, began her production career five years ago. She has since developed a unique style influenced by tribal sounds, excelling in Hardgroove, Tribal, Hip-hop, Dub Techno, and rhythmic, sensual beats. Represented by Yam Agency (an Italian agency), she is also a resident at Balls Baile (Berlin).

Released the EP "Rave Your Soul: The Whole Story" with remixes by Edvvin, Chris Flannigan, Ges, Genex, Dylan Fogarti, Vssr, Pino Penia, and Mikrotakt.
Released an EP on Obscur Berlin featuring four original tracks, a collaboration with Chris Flannigan, and remixes by Artafact, Alec Dienaar, Erik Burka, and Khas.
Remixed Tinex for Alu label.
Remixed Ned Bennett for ASW label.
Contributed to a VA by Transition Call with a premiere by Funkflare on Bipolar Disorder.
Released a VA vinyl on Orbital Disorder.
