This is the lead track for my debut EP by the same name. It is mainly a song about finding strength to carry on and not lose hope when life gets too difficult.

This song was written at a very difficult time in my life. I was moving literally a mile down the road and had to be out of the place where I was living quickly. I was torn and was wondering if all of our possessions were actually as important as our sanity.

Mile Down The Road

This was written at a time when I was experiencing the loss of many family members, friends, and my 2 beloved cats. It's a song of hope that we will all be together again.

This song came about at a time when I realized how I should use my eyes to really see what is important in the world around me.

This song was written like a pun. A retro 80s feel with an observation about the future, "back to the future."

Real Future

This song was written to exemplify my determination of living in the present and fulfilling desires to make a difference in the world. There is limited time for us to do so, being how abrupt and exponential life truly is. I believe that everyone carries the potential to change the world for the better, but one must speak and break their silence for that potential to be unlocked. I wrote this song towards the very beginning of the pandemic where my inspirations stemmed from initially. It was almost as if I felt imprisoned on Earth with the unrest during this time, so my desire to create change expressed itself through writing. We seldom turn our attention to the macrocosm of life, where there is only a moment in time to fossilize your mark. In turn, this will set you free, whether you begin your journey as a “stoner” and evolve to a “donor,” the choice is yours, but the clock is still running.  I hope this song can provide inspiration for all, especially to those who have not yet realized their significance on Earth.

Speak for a Moment

This is a song I originally wrote about the conclusion of my childhood and the transition into adulthood. While it is true that the carefree times of childhood always come to an end, bigger and better things are in store for the future, even though it signals your innocence has been left behind. From a more global perspective, every good or bad event, for that matter, eventually comes to an end, be it a situation, a friendship, a romance, a marriage, even life itself. Departing from what one has known as some of the happiest times in their life is certainly no easy release, but must be accepted by all in order to be able to adjust to the ever evolving changes we see in this life. For those listening to this song, I intend for you to use my words to help you through the conclusion of your dependence--be it on one's childhood or dependence on another person or situation-- to become independent in the belief that where there's life, there's hope. While the future may seem frightening and unknown, especially in the times we are currently living, we can acknowledge that while your current situation will eventually come to an end, there will always be a tomorrow.

All Good Things

"Free At Last" is a song written about the many struggles one faces throughout life, but can be weathered with the support of a loved one, and/or a higher power.  The entire landscape of life can truly be incredible, but seldom is it beautiful without sharing it with someone. On our own, we can seldom make it right, but by putting our trust in another being, through faith, we can obtain an inner hope which can set us free. From my perspective, the only way freedom can be obtained is through faith itself, by letting it go and trusting in God.  We only become free at last when we come to the realization that freedom is in the heart and not just the mind and the only control, we truly have is our own attitude.  I want this song to inspire people to become mentally and spiritually free and to surround themselves with positivity through their own outlook, accepting what we have no control over thereby achieving inner peace. In doing so, we can see the world in a whole new light--that of beauty in spite of the sometimes negativity that surrounds us.

Free At Last

"Been There Done That" is a song I wrote to inspire people to keep moving forward in their lives despite the struggles they have endured in the past. Through trial and error, we learn from our mistakes and become better people from it. The main idea of using the gospel choir in this song is to infiltrate a soulful element when describing how God is a constant in all of our lives. I hope that this song is an inspiration to everyone that no matter what has happened in your past, you can still achieve your goals.
