I never really felt comfortable putting myself between my music and my audience, so what you’ll hear is simply what i had been through for the past year. What will make you sad, made me sad. What will make you get up and dance, made my heart explode at some point in my life.

Whomever I cried for or laughed with, they are the ones who made this album possible.

So I really want to thank you all for sharing those moments that I couldn’t and will never get over.

Kas:st release the anthemic ‘Hold Me To The Light’ on Afterlife with a Tale Of Us remix.

The French duo Kas:st are behind the highly-anticipated vocal track that has been creating special moments in recent sets. The original is arranged to journey through downtempo, piano and vocoder sections as well as a powerful peak. Tale Of Us’ remix extends its climax into a true dancefloor epic. The vocal breakdown, subtle progressions and monumental sound design is the perfect complement to Kas:st’s own masterpiece.
On the record’s B-side, ‘The Hymn Of Fallen Dreams’ switches the title-track’s lyrics for a more understated, ghostly lead line whilst retaining its extended form. Closing track ‘Be Yourself’ is the most direct of the four with a groove and deep pulse primed for the peak-hours.

The melody of ‘Kazan’ feels like a gentle breeze that drifts over the rampant playfulness of the bassline. After more than 25 years in the studio and on stage these guys know exactly what's important for a catchy piece of dance music. That's pretty much the highly intoxicating essence of what we can experience in the rhythm of these two bangers.
