For those who don't know, People Under The Stairs (PUTS) is a duo outta Los Angeles. One is a beatmaker/producer (Thes One), the other is a DJ/beatmaker (Double K), and they're both emcees. Since 1998 they have released 10 albums (12 if you count their hard to find album you were only able to cop at their shows and their "best of" album that also had b-sides and rarities), do quite well on the touring circuit, yet they are one of the most underrated groups out there.

This mix is so massive, I have to split it in 2 volumes. This is not a "best of" mix because that would mean the best joints I selected are on this mix...far from it. They have so many bangers I wouldn't be able to fit them all if I tried. At any rate, this mix highlights some selections from their first 6 albums, which spans from 1998-2006, doing what they do best, which is rhyme about partying, having a good time, maybe even slaying a wack emcee or two...over some of the illest beats your ears will ever hear!
