A plea for an increase in awareness in the guise of a song. I've probably suggested this before, but via Edit, Descriptives (or something like that), you could add the actual words, which opens up a second channel of listening/ viewing.

Exactly - it would only take 10 mins for 147 reasonable leaders to write an accord for a future of survival, of fairness - of helpful ness, of equity

Ah, and here's the rub; we love innovation and shiny new technology, but we're not very good students of history, especially our own.  It didn't work the first time for probably obvious reasons, why do we think it will work the second or third time, especially when it means violating basic morality.

The Most Beautiful Gift In The World

"Le café" is one of my favourite pieces from The Nutcracker. I used to listen to it on my mp3 player, but for some bizarre reason, fully turning up the volume wasn't enough to listen to all the instruments. A solution came one night. The silence and solitude of the late hours allowed me to enjoy the beauty of one of Tchaikovsky's greatest works. Back then, to compose music was just a dream. Now, it's something I simply do, and I love it.

Hard to argue against the observation that we as a species keep making the same mistakes with each other and recreate the same tragedies over and over. Same senseless rhetoric/same simple destructive "super race" syndrome...
If we can figure out the theory of relativity and the structure of DNA, then why can't we see through the useless destructive rhetoric of the "leaders" we see around us?
