We had the pleasure to welcome one of our favorite DJ/Producers @Danny Shamoun at our stage. Danny Shamoun is an instrumentalist and music producer based out of Los Angeles. He grew up in the Detroit music scene where he began his music studies playing drums and percussion in the clubs. 

In 2004, Danny relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a full-time music career. He had a long stint with System of a Down as a technician from 2006-2014 and as a keyboardist for Scars on Broadway from 2007-2012. These proved to be impactful experiences full of lessons for a young artist surrounded by legends everyday. 

Danny has recorded on film scores for the likes of Werner Herzog , Klaus Badelt, and Johnathan Hartman and recorded albums with Secret Chiefs, Billy Ray Cyrus, Matan Caspi, Stan Kolev, Spencer Brown, Scars On Broadway and John Dolmayan to name a few. Recording his own meditation music originals has also reached millions of listeners. 

At the moment, recording  and performing his own electronic music is the main focus. “Meso Haus”, music made by a Mesopotamian using ancient music scales in original house music compositions, is a genre Danny has come up with to put a name to the style of the music he is producing. Being Assyrian and having ancestors from the Fertile Crescent, the sounds that call out to him are deep rooted in him.

Danny is currently residing in Los Angeles, California where he’s developing his DJ sets mixing ney, santoor and various percussion instruments along with facilitating sound meditation ceremonies.

Namito🧿

Born in November 1971 in Tehran, Iran, Namito grew up in a tranquil middle class family in the Northern part of the city. After witnessing the bloody revolution and a notorious war in Iran his parents decided to send him to West Germany for a better future.
In West-Berlin Namito visited the school where he quickly learned German and adopted to the new environment. His enthusiasm for the art of djing was so strong that he dropped out of school and in 1989 started a career persisting now over three decades.
What first took off as DJ in the local, buzzing Berlin Techno scene turned international as soon as Namito released his own music productions on renown, international labels such as Kling Klong , Systematic Recordings , Kompakt , Yoshitoshi ,  Selador and Sol Selectas only to name a few. Residencies in the best Berlin clubs like Tresor and Sternradio were followed by international gigs in all continents.
In the recent years Namito co-produced many other artists including Marc Romboy (Innervisions, Kompakt, Bedrock) , where he also shared the stage live with the Dortmund Philharmonic Orchestra and the legendary Grandmaster Flash with whom he made parts of the music for the Netflix show called “The Get Down”.
In 2019 Namito’s track “Stone Flower” became an international hit and was the best selling Electronica track of the year on Beatport, the world’s leading shop and platform for electronic music. 
That Namito doesn't limit himself as an artist only to being a music producer and DJ, he displayed with the first exhibition of his paintings from August till the end of November 2018 in Berlin at the gallery of the famous nhow Hotel.

Special K (Mohammed Kamal) known in the desert as Papa Kamal, born and
raised in Lattakia, Syria. he has played a major role in the under ground
scene from initiating the very first musical gatherings of their kind in Syria in
2003 and bringing it all the way to Dubai in 2013 by co-founding (Desert
Dream Community). This community was inspired by the burning man and
other festivals of its kind. He carried out this vision deep in the desert away
from the hustle and bustle of the city and in between the dunes. With time
he became the key player in the city focused on electronic music festivals, he
created and collaborated with most successful festivals around Middle East.

Musically Special k has always been a pioneer in searching, producing and
spreading knowledge of the most innovative trends on electronic. From the
day he decided to adapt and share his talent with the world, so he continued
in founding Desert Dreams and Trinity Festivals with various others.

He streamed for many entities for a human rights, Africa Children. As he did
some live streams for HAB festival from the sky (Hot air balloon), Cafe De
Anatolia from the desert and working on a few projects.

Recently he represented the Syrian Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai for a show
named "The Lost Tale of Aqhat" a journey of Oriental house fusions
inspired by sounds from Ugarit 4000 BC and the Mediterranean sea.
