I made this song as sort of a dedication to TUPAC on my 25th birthday when I learned he had died at the age of 25. Needless to say I felt a connection and a significance in that age so I felt like it was my duty to him. My mom loved tupac and as you will hear in the song she was really upset when he passed. She felt so much for him because she too had lost a son to a gun. So in my mind, I drew the connection between tupac and my own life.. his mother and my mother bonded by the pain of losing a child. My own mother passed away when I was 6 a total of 2 years after tupac but as a young child I was able to soak up the emotions going on around me and somehow interpret them clear as day. My gift turned out to be able to make emotions speak. Here is 1996 Cleveland, Ohio live from my mothers bedroom with 25.. enjoy :)
