Hot on the heels of the very well received first release of Callecat's Symbiosis project, which featured collaborations with Paul Hazendonk and Meeting Molly, we now go full force forward with part 2!

For 'Symbiosis' the guys took a unique approach; asking their producer friends and artists they admire to create a song together. After locking themselves up in the studio for a year they ended up with twelve finished collaborations, two of which you'll find here on the second single.

This time around it's time for a female touch as the two Dutch guys teamed up with both Juliane Wolf as well as Forty Cats, resulting in two lush progressive house cuts titled 'Journey Of Species' and 'Interconnecting Echoes'. Pure class!

Starting 2024 with fresh new music, Meanwhile begins the year with two seasoned producers of the progressive house scene as Navar and Golan Zocher collaborate to produce, “Zoom Out”. A single remix comes courtesy of a legendary Australian artist.

A hugely respected artist within the underground dance fraternity, Navar has been at the vanguard of electronic music for over a decade. From early work for Klopfgeist, the Dutch star has been a regular on fellow countryman, Eelke Kleijn’s Outside The Box as well as Guy J’s Lost & Found and Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music. Making his Meanwhile debut remixing Alex O’Rion in early 2022, the 3-track “Return of the Sun” at the end of the year shone an iridescent glow over Navar’s production credentials. Similarly, Golan Zocher is another artist with an impressive production portfolio to his name. Work for Clubsonica Records, Mango Alley and Darin Epsilon’s Perspectives Digital have lit up the Progressive House scene since a debut for Crossfade Sounds in mid-2016. Making his Meanwhile debut on July 2022’s “Meanwhile Excursions, Vol. 2”, in partnership with GMJ on “Negev”, Golan Zocher now returns with another striking collaboration. “Zoom Out” is a beautifully mined progressive house gem that bristles with pounding kick and driving bassline zeal. A mesmeric groove rolls relentlessly forward as subtle percussive touches allow the track to build with ease. Evolving over its near 8-minute timeframe a series of interconnected melodies weave a magical tapestry where pads and subtle motifs cascade over each other in seamless fashion. A breakdown pause then allows for the development of melodic sequences to take centre stage in the second half to create a stunning and multi-layered track.

Jamie Stevens reputation within the electronic music industry is second to none. An artist with a career stretching back over two decades, his solo work has graced the finest labels including Bedrock, Balance Music and Selador. June 2022’s 3-track “Circles” EP marked a Meanwhile high point, followed by October 2023’s twin-track “Mad Bells / Kanlan”. Remixed by Navar in April 2023, Jamie now returns the favour with a typically inventive and dynamic interpretation that takes “Zoom Out” to soaring new heights. Via intelligent manipulation of track components, the Australian has created a pounding dancefloor epic that hypnotises through its sustained and rolling bassline. A subtle grooved rhythm plays atop with intricate placement of percussive sounds while familiar melodic elements flow freely around the rhythm and bass anchor. Adding a Vangelis-esque synth phrase at the stripped back mid-point offers a beguiling and fluid aura to proceedings as the remix picks up the dancefloor pace once more in another hugely impressive Jamie Stevens production.

Traversing a wide and varied soundscape, Navar & Golan Zocher have created a brilliant snapshot with “Zoom Out”, superbly aided by the peerless Jamie Stevens.

Transensations Records opens the year of 2024 with the powerful collab of our label manager GORKIZ and MIND ECHOES with the single WITHOUT YOUR NOOSE , alongside top notch remixes from RUBEN KARAPETYAN , PAUL ARCANE and DIGITAL MESS.

Title theme is anchored by a warm and rippling groove, emerging melodies with a denser and more rhythmic ambience creates a hypnotic atmosphere bound to conquer the dance floor audience. The first remix comes from Ruben Karapetyan, returning to Transensations with a stunning remix, adding his sound signature with a perfect balance of fluid rhythms, groove and atmospheric textures.

Next remix comes from the Chilean artist Paul Arcane who debuts on the label bringing an interpretation of the track which crafts a gorgeous lead line and balmy atmospherics for sure fire dance floor elation. Madloch's Sound Avenue continues a strong start to the year by welcoming Will Konitzer and MeowWow to the label for their debut single. Hailing from the USA, Will Konitzer first emerged over a decade ago on the strength of tracks for Bush Records, Krafted Music and Triple Fire Music. Noted for his timeless progressive style, the Austin resident became a name to watch and would go on to several successes across the next decade, adding Light Side Music, Whose Haus and Musicon in his resume, the latter of which would serve as his primary home. Meanwhile, also calling Austin, Texas home is MeowWow who entered into the world of electronic music as a DJ first, quickly becoming a fixture of the city's vibrant nightlife and performing alongside top international talents such as Nora En Pure. MeowWow's production debut would come just over a year ago via Krafted Underground, a release which would lead to future projects on Elevation London, Perfecto Records and more. Having remixed MeowWow's ‘Mystic Garden' to begin 2023, Will Konitzer now joins forces with his fellow countrywoman for their first ever collaboration and Sound Avenue debut entitled ‘Moon Dance', alongside a remix from label returnee Forty Cats.
