My main intention when Writing Sticky Situations was to bring attention to the mistreatment of us minorities as well as unit us as humans.

This song is about a person who’s got a hard time expressing themselves unless they have had a bit to drink and their partner who loves them endlessly but needs more than just drunken confessions in order to stay. 

They express how much they love one another but there has to be more give than take.
