"This mix illustrates alien abduction as a metaphor for the transgender experience. It's about being abducted by aliens and being stuck in transit going someplace far away, similar to the feeling of being trapped in the wrong body and unsure of the destination.

Born into a matriarchy of two immigrant grandmothers, the 'alien' abduction with an uncertain fate reaches to my machinations of the position my elders were put in as children too. My grandmothers' parents were sold the American Dream, but at what cost? The USA doesn't give a flying fuck about immigrants or about trans people... Will an alien just come carry me away already?

Harsh textures and ethereal sounds of yearning characterize this techno mix. Of course sprinkled with moments of laughter and terror, because when we can't cry anymore, we must laugh. Please enjoy this journey into the unknown, and thanks for tuning in <3"
