This is Dexter's rework of a Bob Marley classic. A one take vocal performance with no edits. Being a bit unfamiliar to the original version, Dexter nailed a raw and original take on the song, bringing optimism and hope to what was originally a pretty dark song.

Recorded in Los Angeles from 2016 to 2018,  DJ Avid's "House of Broken Records" is a compilation of songs from different artists with a wide array of musical backgrounds. A labor of love by all who collaborated, and two years plus in the making. Over 30 songs were tracked, but only a few are presented here. I had the honor of working with some of LA's most talented musicians including Zarah Mahler, Dexter Williams, Dani Ahndreç, Megan Kinney and Tesha. More songs to come this Summer!
