Impetus - The World We Live In

A necromancer cast into the ocean as punishment for his practices immerges from the depths months later, returning to his tower set on a remote island. The many decaying corpses littering the stone hallways begin to reanimate at his presence as he walks its passages.

I have many talented friends and I love to work with people. After a few years I found I had a small collection of music that I wanted to share so started this Collaborations series. I am very lucky to work with such talented people.

In between composing, writing, rehearsing, and recording, I have been improvising a lot, and this track is the result of one of those moments. It is very different from what I am working on but, somehow, it holds my essence, and it makes me feel well. Instead of letting it disappear along with many other pieces that I never share with others, I have decided to publish it in celebration of #pianoday2018. I hope you enjoy it.
