I said I would make it didn’t I :)? Well, I started making this over a year ago actually, but scrapped it and started over early this year. I realized I needed to get better at audio editing and editing in general to do what I wanted to here, and I thought if I tried making this immediately back then, it’d just be really similar to the other Meme Megamashups. I wanted to include new meme songs along with all sorts of meme songs from different time periods. It was nostalgic looking back on all those, and it made me realize just how freaking many are out there. I’m still getting into random stuff like Scatman and Touhou YTPMVs today, and judging by the amount of meme songs that come back randomly, I think lots of others are, too. The Internet we’ve built is seriously a vast place, and because of it there’s so much art and inspiration that we can experience. This is kind of my love letter to all of that.
