Ecstatic Dance Cairns celebrated it's first cacao ceremony on Saturday 30th October at the luxury outdoor setting of Whitfield House, Edge Hill. A premier wedding venue in the far northern region, this was the first time such an event occured on the site! And also infact Cairns, being first opportunity for both men & women together with experienced ceremonial / plant ceremonialist of cacao Leilana Grace. 

The first 25 minutes of this recording was the warm up music which was facilitated by somatic movement facilitator Shantelle Marie, some group activities and embodied presence. It was so lovely to collaborate with these two women and share global music from across the world - never before heard or experienced here in rural, Cairns, northern Australia...

Ecstatic dance set prerecorded live played for the Asheville Movement Collective & Warren Wilson College on 4.14.23. The event was also a benefit for the Center for Conscious Living & Dying, an organization doing incredible service towards cultivating presence and respect for death by honoring and embracing the final seasons of life and providing proper end of life care ✨ 

The set is inspired by their mission, with a vision of cultivating consciousness and presence through the death portal, so expect a bit of a journey into the bardo. May we dance to cultivate a deeper awareness of our relationship with death and may we find that we celebrate life that much more and dance that much harder as a result <3

That was this 26th August morning's ecstatic dance with Mridu (Returning from Dragon Seed camp in Switzerland) and Cacao ceremony with Poliana and friends at Afroz. One hundred twenty people were dancing into a powerful movement journey 💥.

Burning Man Rhythm Wave Metamorphoses

Bettina Rothe (DIVA-B) is a facilitator of conscious movement practices and community building whose passion is to ignite one's connection with self, to others and to the continuum of all life. Her work is grounded in holistic, somatic based modalities with a strong focus on the 5Rhythms®, Gabrielle Roth's powerful movement form, mindfulness practices and leadership embodiment principles. Bettina is a licensed 5Rhythms® teacher based in Vancouver, BC who offers weekly group classes, individual sessions, workshops and retreats in North America, Central America and Europe. 

As DJ DIVA-B she is passionate about creating soundscapes as a gateway into ecstasy, heart-centered connection and experience of divine bliss. She grew up in the Berlin House scene and is known for her creative blend of Organic House, Tech House, Nu House, and devotional tunes from around the globe. She has performed at Burning Man, Beloved, Bitf and many other festivals on the West Coast. 

Her latest fascination is DIVA House in honour and celebration of the Feminine Rising. DIVA House honours female artists, spotlights uplifting and empowering lyrics, and co-creates high vibes with dancers from all walks of life.
