Our brains are hardwired for ecstasy. Many of our ancestors have accessed ecstatic states as a way of asking for inspiration, guidance or healing. They can increase our awareness and offer us experiences that extend beyond the physical senses and the cognitive mind. The gates to our inner knowing and intuitive mind can open. Deep healing can occur in altered states of consciousness.

In our culture today many of us are experiencing a lack of ecstasy that we might try to fill with other means. The dancing path is an on-going journey from inertia to ecstatic trance. To be in a state of ecstatic means to be fully alive.

WOW!!! What a burn, what a camp (Rhythm Wave), what a dance!!! This is a 2 wave dance that was designed to go into the depths of the underworld, have moments of popping up for air, diving back in, really riding our way to the top, and finishing with touching the depths of our soul! My intention was to span across many emotional dimensions in one coherent dance journey. The first wave ends and second wave starts at 57:24.

BURNING MAN 2025 Live Dj Set - Sunset Magic Set

This was quite the burn. It was beautiful, amazing, and transformative. It was also incredibly hard, full of work, exhausting, disappointing, and full of opportunities for growth and expansion. The welcome home party was the highlight of my burn and the most present I was the entire week. This party normally takes place on Sunday evening. The rain and weather postponed this blast off until Monday evening. Those that were there could feel the building energy and were ready to come together and leave the uncertainty and chaos of the world behind as they move, groove, and lean into love. This set was all of that and embodied the theme of tomorrow today. Creating the desired feeling today of joy, gratitude, connection, and love through house music.

Bettina Rothe (DIVA-B) is a facilitator of conscious movement practices and community building whose passion is to ignite one's connection with self, to others and to the continuum of all life. Her work is grounded in holistic, somatic based modalities with a strong focus on the 5Rhythms®, Gabrielle Roth's powerful movement form, mindfulness practices and leadership embodiment principles. Bettina is a licensed 5Rhythms® teacher based in Vancouver, BC who offers weekly group classes, individual sessions, workshops and retreats in North America, Central America and Europe. 

DIVA-B is a sonic priestess channeling deep, soulful, and high-energy House & Techno beats. She blends hypnotic rhythms, sultry vocals, and infectious grooves as gateways into ecstasy. 

Her soundscapes are unapologetic, sensual, and fierce. She grew up in the Berlin House scene and is known for her creative blend of Organic House, Tech House, Nu House, and Melodic Techno. She has performed at Burning Man, Beloved, Bitf and many other festivals on the West Coast.

Her latest fascination is DIVA House in honour and celebration of the Feminine Rising. DIVA House honours female artists, spotlights uplifting and empowering lyrics, and co-creates high vibes with dancers from all walks of life.
