History Sessions is all about where I revisit a particular genre that has played a big part in my DJ'ing journey, and mix up a selection of tracks that were important within that part of the journey. This one focuses on Makina, a genre that was introduced to me around 1998/1999, and went on to become my main passion for many years to come. The tracks on this mix are mainly taken from the Bit Music label, which played a huge part in the North East makina explosion around the turn of the century. This was when I got my first North East rave booking at Hangar 13. I was always interested in the roots of makina and how the DJs in Spain represented it. This is what inspired the evolution of my mixing style.
