The 'Streetwise' Ambient Mix is a spaced out lament to loneliness and lost hope. I've always found that tracks which fall into the ambient or minimal genre remind me of certain films, when putting together this specific mix, my mind went straight to the lives of the children featured in the 1984 documentary, 'Streetwise'. When I decided to add excerpts from the film, the words that are spoken complimented the transitions in mood and textures beautifully. I hope the images play out as clearly in your head whilst listening as they do mine. Enjoy- Glenbek x
