Argentinian master Jonas Kopp joins Nørbak for the sophomore release on NRBK, Slower Than This One. The result is a propulsive journey through a fulminating reverberation chamber, embodying the principles of devastating sound design and processing both artists have become known for. Urgency, dense textural elements, and a relationship between imploding and exploding space dominate the EP, complemented by a reverb-rich architecture for dizzying and terse percussion. Interruptions by precipitate atmospherics appear out of the ether, calling the listener to action. The effect is a chaotic, high inertia journey heavy on tension and incendiary motifs.

With his debut release at Modern Minimal and upcoming releases on international labels, his music pulls listeners into a deep trance, keeping the body locked into the weight of the low-end while the mind drifts through evolving synth narratives. Inside the dense low-end mass and winding synth lines, intricate details unfold—crafted with a meticulous attention to detail to satisfy even the most hard-to-please listeners. 

Kinesin is a motor protein that plays a crucial role in the transport of materials within cells. Essentially, Kinesin acts like a "molecular motor," walking along microtubules with incredible precision. It moves in a coordinated pattern, using its two "heads" to alternate in a manner similar to a dance step, where one head attaches to the microtubule while the other detaches, allowing Kinesin to advance efficiently. Powered by ATP, the molecule that stores and releases energy in the body, Kinesin transforms this chemical energy into mechanical movement, creating a continuous process of flow and transport, essential for cellular life.
Just as Kinesin transforms energy efficiently and continuously, the layers of percussion and basslines flow incessantly, keeping us immersed in a state of movement, energy, and vibration.
