Two new tracks “Berlin” and “Do I Really Need You” see her develop on the deep, modern and melodic style of house music she crafted on her excellent debut LP “Genuine Silk” (Dial Records) and across previous EPs on Cologne powerhouse Kompakt. 

“Elina released what was for me on of the strongest electronic long players of 2020; taut, classical song craft coupled with a modern deep sound aesthetic that beautiful marries elements of various disparate electronic styles. I’m really happy to be able to release these two new tracks which I’m sure will find loving homes in both electronica fans headphone rotation and the record boxes of discerning DJs looking to craft memorable moments on the floor

Berlin based artist Franz Matthews teams up with Berny of In Dark We Trust to join Roam Recordings with their single What’s Behind - a hypnotic melodic offering with Franz Matthews’ vocals taking it into the cosmos. The single is backed by remixes from Alejandro Molinari and Elfenberg. Roam alum Alejandro Molinari is up first and takes What’s Behind further into spacey territory accentuating the original melodies with lush cosmic overtones. Elfenberg brings up the tempo with a jackin’ beat while keeping true to the hypnotic nature of the original. The release is rounded out by an instrumental and radio version.
