   Born in Birmingham, Alabama, KB hails from a specified area called Bessemer Cutoff (BCO) where the county splits. His aim is to bring recognition and awareness to the area that spawned &#34;KB Cain&#34; with his versatile style of flow and witty southern drawl. He states that every piece of music and literary work he's created under this moniker is dedicated to his younger brother, Tarquinne &#34;Trap&#34; McCain, and in honor of his late father, Michael McCain Jr. His father passed away on August 10, 2008 and his brother is serving a life sentence in the penitentiary being taken off the streets at the age of 18. KB's father and brother were/are loved by many and his music keeps them together with an adhesive impervious to the prison or graveyard. Throughout his works, his fans constantly and relentlessly hears #FreeTrap!; #1968; #BCO; #COL ****! among other slogans and phrases that encompasses his experiences and what he's about.
