FRAMES

This track explores the ideology of never settling in life for anything less than our true potential and to continuously be on the path of transformation hence the reference to the butterfly and endless highway on the track cover art. This track consist of Beaudi Dwan  on rhythm guitar and vocals/harmonies, Nuraini on the bass, Rob Burr from Bearfoot on the drums and Brian Goodworth + Adnan Sevin from Redwood Scoundrel on lead guitar.

Creating this track all started with a simple combination of acoustic guitar, bass, and a vocal melody that immediately set the tone. From that foundation, In the studio, the focus was on layering textures that would capture both vulnerability and energy contrasts that mirror the emotions behind the lyrics. We experimented with space and sound, blending organic instrumentation with subtle atmospheric elements to elevate the mood without overpowering it. Every choice was made to reflect the song's core theme: the painful but necessary process of growth.
Lyrically, the song explores the feeling of no longer fitting into the places or relationships that once felt like home. It speaks to the quiet disorientation that comes with change, the bittersweet realization that in order to move forward, we sometimes have to let go of the familiar. Whether it's old friendships, routines, or physical spaces, the song captures that sense of drifting away from what once grounded you, while still holding on to the hope that new belonging lies ahead.
