to stop the arguing. this is the story of hades and persephone, "devil" Is hades, ruler of the underworld. The devil in Christianity is the ruler of hell, and hades is the ruler of the underworld. and different places tell the story differently.

Off topic but I like to imagine the ending part after “six feet under” is when Demeter finally gets to see Persephone after 9 long days and trials to get to her which is why it’s like a sweet melody
