Annna is a Sofia-based DJ and the visionary behind Isterika - an independent platform and mix series dedicated to the significance of club culture, electronic music, visual arts, and the underground bulgarian community that has been going strong for 4 years and has proven itself as one of the most celebrated club platforms and the only one independently and solely run by a female artist locally. With bookings such as Vlada, Byron Yeates, Frinda di Lanco, Sansibar, Alex Kassian, Guy Contact, THC, Liquid Earth, Zeynep, Asphalt DJ, Spray, Bliss Inc., Niklas Wandt, Ani Phoebe and many more, Annna keeps on promoting the true dance music spirit through house, trance and Hi-NRG as the only bulgarian promoter consistently working with that sound.

Over the past three years, Annna’s music journey has taken her to venues across Europe, including clubs, art spaces, radios, galleries and festivals such as WUS Fest and Meadows in the Mountains in Bulgaria. In Berlin, she’s left her mark at iconic parties like Body Language in Remise and Fandango, along with memorable performances at venues like Sameheads, Renate, Zur Klappe and Repeat bar. In London, All my Friends record store, Voices Radio, Venue MOT and Kraft Dolston are some of the spaces she’s brought sound to and during the years she’s been collaborating with esteemed artists such as D.Tiffany, Reflex Blue, Angel d Lite, Stella Zekri, Flo Masse, Anatolian Weapons, Andrea Dama, Niklas Wandt, Sansibar, THC, Byron Yeates, Alex Kassian, Bliss Inc, Hypersoft and many others. Last week we welcomed Arcadia Sounds residents Loopa & Nathan Pinder to our REC.ROOM LIVE series in Manchester.

First up, Loopa settled us into the airwaves with a considered selection of certified Hip Hop chillers.

Nathan Pinder stepped in for the second hour, kicking us into 6th gear with an atomic selection of proggy techy headbangers leading us nicely to Eastern Bloc for the after party.

Isaac has been a true music head within the Newcastle music scene for a quite a while now, after residency’s on @slacksradio and holding it down in Newcastle at Tokyo Bar, The Grove as well as throwing a handful of parties at The Journey. Recently he’s been dabbling in live sets and music productions, especially experimental, left-field electronic music, which he is looking to showcase in the near future.
