Malamor – Dead To The World 2022 Contest
Hi everyone, little recap what I did on this mix.
On the drums I blended my personal samples of my drum
but not too much because I didn't want to drown out the originally recorded drum. 

On the bass guitar I used a Bogren Digital BassKnob STD, and all these recorded bass tracks - done differently, 

On the rhythm guitar, I worked a lot on the EQ/Comp. to make the guitars jump forward and be clearer. 

In my opinion, the vocals were recorded the best and they didn't require such drastic moves.

On 2 rhythm guitars I used my EVH 5150 III 50w amp & Impulse Response Friedman BE-412 4x12 cabinet, 
and on the other two guitars I used the Neural DSP Fortin Cali Suite. 
I used a Parallax - Neural DSP plug-in on the bass guitar. 

Also at the chorus and at the end of the song I added 2 acoustic guitars and symphonies that fill in the background and open the song.
I used original RAW drum track with my personal samples.
