“Ego trumps addiction”
Okay... a music addict - who isn’t? I thrive on it.. All & every genre from the beginning of time. Not just listening but composing, writing, creating, singing and even dancing - sometimes not the best all around, but if you’re enjoying it, you’re living it. I don’t know if it’s a just a me thing at the moment, but 80-90% of my original music composition (lyrics, melodies, random notes) just happen spontaneously or come to me as I go along. For example the 1st song I uploaded “Long Ago and Far Away” I wrote down a few sentences more so as notes, maybe a half page, and it was really the 1st take of the song. Nothing great but it’s 99% spontaneous. I plan on perfecting the song by writing the full lyrics w/full arraignment
I can’t see it taking more than 3 more drafts but again, I’m really stoked to see just how good a rehearsed, polished song will sound. 
The next song I plan on uploading maybe me or my friend Todd playing guitar, but again nothing rehearsed just spontaneous freestyle as we go along either street playing or messing around on Garage Band, only bc I have a lot of freestyle/spontaneous songs in my cache, and have little to no knowledge operating garage band.
