Starting the new year off with a sonic celebration, the iconic figure of Patch Park makes his Meanwhile debut with the 3-track "Control / Night Shower / Don't Hold Back".

A Dutch master with a celebrated career stretching back over two decades, Patch Park has been at the forefront of the underground dance scene since the mid-2000s. As accomplished behind the decks as he is in the studio, performances at such celebrated venues as Extrema, Solar Weekend, Amnesia and The Loft, alongside the likes of Joris Voorn, Eelke Kleijn, Patrice Bäumel and Hernan Cattaneo, has cemented an impressive reputation among fans and peers alike.

In tandem, a century of production credits has graced some of the finest independent dance music labels that include the likes of Global Underground, Renaissance and Yoshitoshi. After recently reappearing on District Rec with a massive EP featuring a chart-topping remix by Guy J, Patch Park now finds his way onto GMJ & Matter's esteemed imprint, delivering a musical triptych of the highest order. Full of majestically conceived sonic arrangements and innovative production techniques, "Control" opens with a mesmerising synth note and evolving bass pattern against a ticking percussive groove. A heavy kick adds to a club-friendly vibe as a spoken vocal repeats the title. Evolving in waves of sounds, a gently pulsating breakdown provides a pause for breath before the huge bass pattern emerges once more alongside soaring chord progressions and magical counterpoint melody.

"Night Shower" continues the hypnotic bass narrative as a running sequence creates intensity and vibrancy aplenty. Familiar analogue synth tones redolent in reverb and delay, wax and wane in intensity creating a cross between Sasha and Kraftwerk as whip-cracking kick, 808-clap and off-beat hats add to the percussive dynamism. Full of panache, vitality and a classy production sound, a pitched vocal sample creates a further spellbinding touch.

With its chunky rhythmic foundation, "Don't Hold Back" gradually filters into sonic range with a beautifully sculpted bass pattern and plucked synth line that nestles alongside in perfect syncopation. Rising to a second movement crescendo, the track hits its straps at the mid-point with a rare combination of driving intensity and melodic beauty. Full of the production credentials that have made Patch Park such a renowned figure, breathy vocals and rhythmic vigour add further to a truly impressive offering.

With heartfelt vibe that lingers long after the music stops, it's a track that connects deeply with listeners.

Luciano Capomassi is a Dj and Producer born in Rosario, Argentina. Music lover, with vast experience on the music scene, has morphed his sound from the Chicago's House in the beginning, to the Organic and Progressive House style that nowadays define his sets and productions. 

His connection to music started when he was a child, taking guitar, board, and singing lessons in many institutions such as Musimedios, and being part of local projects related to rock and blues genres. He threw his musical knowledge into electronic music back in 2011, studying at Cetear School of Sound with Mario Puccio, national exponent of Progressive House. 

During this time, he has shared stage with renowned DJs and producers from Argentina, such as Bs. As. Deep, Facundo Mohrr, Govinda, Lolu Menayed, Julián Nates, Fede Lamark, Gastón Garay, Ramiro Alvarez, Julieta Kühnle and many more.  In 2022, he started his professional career as Producer, publishing his first release on AMITABHA label.

Clubsonica Records opens their 2025 campaign by unveiling the seventh edition of their popular Sampler Series. Following its debut in 2021, Clubsonica's Various Artists Sampler Series is now a regular and much anticipated offering in the label's catalog, operating as an extension to the imprint's MMW and ADE showcases. The trending series has been a platform not only for a wide assortment of upcoming talent, but continues to add some of progressive music's most notable names with each successive edition. Genre veterans Golan Zocher, Greenage, Kamilo Sanclemente, Ric Niels and Ruben Karapetyan, amongst others, have all graced Clubsonica's much sought after Sampler Series, sitting alongside a carefully curated blend of talented up and comers. Now embarking on their seventh edition as 2025 begins to take shape, Clubsonica boss Juan Pablo Torrez has compiled the series' most anticipated volume to date, featuring new music from (in order of appearance): David Podhel, Noise Generation, Greta Meier, K Loveski, Nicolas Benedetti, Phillipe Lois, Surmillo and GAU.

Moving forward to selection three, occasional studio partners K Loveski and Nicolas Benedetti present their latest collaborative effort ‘Tarab'. Russian artist K Loveski has been a beloved figure of the progressive house underground for well over a decade. A series of releases for Omid 16B's Alola Records spearheaded what has been a fourteen-year creative swell. The Saint-Petersburg resident now boasts a resume highlighted by releases via Nick Warren's The Soundgarden, Balance Music, Mango Alley and Or Two Strangers, while also earning the support of Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren along the way. Meanwhile, Argentinean artist Nicolas Benedetti has enjoyed a quick rise since first emerging in 2019, with releases via 3rd Avenue, Droid9 and Strangers Beats setting his career in motion. Moving forward, the Buenos Aires resident would quickly earn the praise of progressive music tastemakers Alex O'Rion, Hernan Cattaneo, Mariano Mellino, Nick Warren, Nicolas Rada and more, while landing key projects via Hoomidaas, Movement Recordings and Univack. Having been paired together previously for Antrim's Or Two Strangers, K Loveski and Nicolas Benedetti now continue their collaborative partnership for Clubsonica with ‘Tarab', a slice of peak time progressive house, complete with charged grooves, colourful effects and infectious melodies.
