After two years of eagerly searching for the most modern production, she found herself in a messy studio with two mics, a slightly out-of-tune piano and a cassette porta studio available for 10 hours. The result is raw but smooth. It’s real, - It’s acceptance. 
 Ess Bogale's creative path began when she, as a 10-year-old, began writing poems with a fascination for existential questions. The music came into the picture when Bogale together with the piano teacher established a silent agreement to skip all the homework and only focus on free improvisation.
This is exactly what made Bogale's brother say “Ess, you write poems, and you play the piano. I'll go out for a while, when I'm back I want to hear a song, okay? ”Bogale took this seriously and has since that day not stopped writing.

 The album Jonik & Yassy was recorded live one night in October 2018. The songs are naked self-experienced stories that deal with everything from mental illness to witty love. The songs for the next album is already finished so make sure to follow for more updates
