At just 20 years old, Milan’s Piero Acinapura is pushing a fresh wave of sharp, groove-heavy tech sounds that are catching serious attention. With releases on Take Notes, CUFF, and Sound D’Elite, and support from Jamie Jones, Michael Bibi, Joseph Capriati, and Toman, he’s already making his mark on Europe’s underground circuit.

Now, Acinapura gears up for his most significant step yet with the release of the ‘Lowrider’ EP on Stacey Pullen’s iconic Blackflag Recordings, dropping 25 July 2025. We’re premiering the EP’s closing track, ‘Jam’ – a stripped-back, late-night cut that sums up his precision-focused style.

‘Jam’ is all about rhythm and flow. Built on tightly wound percussion, sharp drum programming, and a driving, minimalist groove, it’s designed for peak club moments where every detail matters. There are no unnecessary layers or distractions here – just a confident, rolling energy aimed squarely at the dancefloor.

The whole EP highlights Acinapura’s versatility. The title track ‘Lowrider’ fuses percussive tech house with a unique Spanish spoken-word sample, while ‘Skate Park’ blends old-school grit with warped vocals and experimental grooves. Together, the three cuts showcase an artist unafraid to take risks and carve out their path.

With his debut on Blackflag, Acinapura takes a significant leap forward, proving why his sound is resonating with some of the scene’s most respected names. ‘Jam’ is the perfect introduction – clean, focused, and built for those who live for the late hours.

BIO
BB Deng is a Berlin-based Taiwanese DJ, producer, and Ego Riot label owner.

She started in Taipei’s rock and club scene before moving to Beijing, where she opened a club, co-founded INTRO Festival, and became resident at Lantern. With 20+ releases on international labels, she has toured 16 countries.

Since relocating to Berlin in 2018, BB has become a fixture in the city’s techno and goth scenes, known for fusing Industrial, Hard/Dark Techno, and EBM into cinematic sets, while also blending House and New Beat.

A Novation ambassador featured by BBC, FAZEmag, and Flux FM, she has played Burning Man, ADE, Fusion, Tresor, KitKat Club, and more. In 2025, she returns for her third year at Rave The Planet.
