This was such a great trip down memory lane. So many records which I also have but haven't played for years.

Echoflex is a new studio and DJ collaboration between Al MacKenzie (Field of Dreams / D:Ream / Retroforward) and Duncan Gray (tici taci / Sons of Slough).

Having remixed each other over the last few years, they finally had the chance to play B2B as a warm up for ALFOS in Birmingham last year - and enjoyed it so much they decided it might be fun to do something on a regular basis.

They will be starting a regular slot at The Brunswick Cellars in Glasgow on Friday March 29th with a 3 deck back to back mix - playing deep house and pitched down techno soaked in glorious FX.

To celebrate this event Echoflex anybody attending the night will be given a free download code for the first Echoflex EP, ahead of its release in April 2024.

Al and Dunc have done a 2 hour mix together to give you an idea of what you might expect - expect the unexpected.

This is a 57 minute DJ mix by Duncan Gray containing all of the tracks from his forthcoming album "Five Fathoms Full" which is released on May 30th 2024

This is DG's 5th album for tici taci and can be loosely described as "Electronic cosmiche dub disco" as all tracks feature dubby guitars, a large array of analogue synths - all recorded as Live audio takes, the so called "rhythms of the night", and more than a whiff of what used be called Kr**tr*ck .

the album will be released exclusively on bandcamp initially and will be available for a reasonable sum of money on Friday 31st May 2024

Bárbara Boeing is part of an exciting wave of innovative Brazilian artists who have been catching our eyes and ears. Next to take the reigns we have Tici Taci label boss Duncan Gray. Duncan really should need no introduction as he's been involved in the industry for so long you've almost certainly heard of him or at least heard some of his work. Primarily an instrumentalist, Duncan has played guitar and bass on some massive releases. 

Around 2013, after a hiatus from electronic music,  Duncan created Tici Taci Records which is a mainstay of top quality releases. The birth of the label was overseen by none other than Mr Andrew Weatherall (RIP Guv). The quality of the music released on Tici Taci really is second to none and we urge you to go and check out the label and support what they are doing! 

Allow Mr Gray to take over your speakers and provide the soundtrack to this Sunday evening.
