This was one of the last songs I played the night before I heard that my mother passed away. This band's lp was played during the Jack's Funhouse project and not Radio Squaremont. This song was not even on the lp. This song is just one of those memories that stays with me.

Muttongun - D.Q.

Aired on Radio Squaremont on Sunday, August 24, 2003. This version is different from the one on the LP "Years Too Late". You can find the final version on YouTube in 2015 with the LP release date of 2007. I don't have any more info on this. I just know I played it a good 4 years before the song was put out on plastic.

Alcian Blue - Carousel (demo mix)

Aired July 24, 2002 on Radio Squaremont. I don't think this was released on plastic. My guess is they must have thought lyrics were more important than noisy Shoegaze jams. Oh well, it is not for everybody. Maybe after a little Vodka or Gin cocktail drinks, it should sound better.

Alcian Blue - Vicacaksire

Aired Thursday August 29, 2002. Andalusia were one of the most underated and amazing Shoegaze bands to come out of America. You will not find this song on YouTube. I think this is another instrumental left behind in favor of their other songs with vocals.

Andalusia - Saltwater

Aired Saturday August 23, 2003. No info on this band. No relation to Psych Rock band in 1969 or Italian Disco song by same name. This appears to be a demo like their other song because by now I realize must have been scraping the bottom of the barrel. No wonder the song is called "Lament".

Linear High - Breakdown (demo version)

This song can be seen on Shazam, Spotify, iTunes, etc. Before these corporate nickel-and-dime thieves got their ears on it, it was heard and played on Radio Squaremont. I never got a penny because this was all in the effort of DJing and getting the music out there. There was little-to-any internet resources in the early 2000s. The Shoegaze-Dream Pop genre songs on this channel were originally aired during the internet radio show called Radio Squaremont, 2000-2003. Online podcasting was very limited to the internet resources available at the time. I had cable internet with signal booster, so both my CPU and connection were top notch. The main resources I used were KaZaa and MP3.com before the copyright crackdowns forced the sites to shut down and revise their eCommerce. The sole purpose of these postings remains the same: 1. Getting the music out there. 2. Hopefully sparking interest and inspiration to the younger generation of kids. I know your jaws must be dropping just hearing this stuff for the 1st time!
