“ DJ Otta Oliver” é Juann Otávio Oliveira de Souza, natural de Porto Alegre (RS). Cria da comunidade “dunas” com 16 anos se mudou para balneário camboriú (SC) e se apaixonou pelo “mega funk”. Procurou aprender a mixar de forma autodidata alcançando ótimos resultados com seu primeiro remix “Noites em Claro”.
A partir dessa primeira música, ganhou destaque no cenário e através da música viu que poderia mudar a vida da sua família. Otta se diferencia em cima do palco, dançando e interagindo com o público.
Aos 20 anos, quando veio à pandemia, tudo parou. Não havia mais festas para tocar e viu todo seu rendimento cair. Nesse período buscou alternativas no mundo do crime chegando a ser preso. Ao conquistar sua liberdade, buscou retomar sua carreira, viu que o crime não compensa e que a música pode salvar vidas.
Otta tem um canal de respeito no cenário do funk com mais de 7 milhões de acessos em suas músicas. Conhecido como o "Cachorro belga dos belgas".
