May not even be a horrible progression, but this is crunched together in a state of chaos that keeps getting worse as it stumbles along. Relax a little, take some more time and give your track more time. No need to hurl everything on top of each other right way, you know!

Very nice for the first track (it seems it is really your first track). Well, it shows potential, but there is so much work to do. Would be nice to feel the progression, e.g. where is starts, where it ends, where the tension reaches it's peak and then resolves. And a better mix would be also nice. Try to make all instruments definable using different frequency ranges. GL!

Welcome to OSC.  Note that the criticisms and comments offered are all friendly and intended to help!  This piece has some good ideas and sounds, but feels kind of miss-mahsed together.  Your production is well balanced considering how much is going on, but I think some of the parts would have worked better if more in their own space and the whole piece would have made a bit more sense if parts were a little more defined from each other.  The juxtaposition of the title and the grim reaper is kind of ironic.

lots of cool stuff going on. you definitely have a good feeling for rhythm, harmony and melody. Keep going, and don't be discouraged by overwhelming feedback. I see a big potential.

Could use some more structure. A buildup? Some more variation on the theme? I struggle with this also. Building a great arrangement takes practice and time. Keep it up!

I like the 80s sounds. The leads are nice, they could be punched up a bit. The form and cadence can use some variation. Just some attention to the mix and harmonic elements would help this track.

i like the melodic atmoshperes very much, this music has a good feeling. The title and image together is very amusing (as ontrackp mentioned) lol! I also think that it is the 'narrow' nature of the mix that doesn't help it to shine, more 'stage' and depth would help imho.

There's a lot of nice stuff, so I'll just offer two suggestions - not every instrument has to play all the time, and changing the octave that an instrument plays in can help clear up the mix and allow the listener to follow things better.

I created this song in the last few days, it was a busy month. The synth itself is a decent one, could be someone's first synth as it's designed to learn. The controls are pretty basic and the FX section lacks some crucial parameters (like low/high filtering for reverb/delay). The synth has its own character though. It's reminiscent of 90's virtual analog synths with that characterful phase restart effect when unison mode is turned on. I could even make some cool rave sounds with it.

This month's one synth effort is brought to your long suffering ears by Audible Genius' Primer 2. Featuring the events of three and a bit minutes in the life of a nicely dressed bee by the name of Johnnie. He's judged by his peers to be 'quite good'. Listen in awe as he leaves the hive, flies round a bit, dodging the birds, and settles on a few flowers before flying off home for a well deserved rest.

This month it fell to Tracktion's Waveform Pro 13 for DAW duties along with ten instances of Primer 2. Layering: I've heard of it... Also featuring the following plugins:

- dpMeter5, Blue Cat Audio Gain3 and KClip Zero on clip to zero as always
- AudioModern Panflow
- Tracktion TReverber8
- NI Raum
- no instances of Valhalla Supermassive
- TDR Nova and Kotelnikov for mastering along with another KClip Zero to keep it all in check

MIDI for one of the arps was recorded from Pitch Innovations Eternal Arps. Patches are a mix of Init based and a few from the rather marvellous random buttons.
