Having switched off at night, this is how Radio 1 was launched each morning- with a collection of jingles and music tracks (from their Answer library) produced by JAM Creative Productions.

Hear the subtle differences between them, one montage includes a jingle for Adrian John and the next promotes his replacement, Jakki (as it was spelt back then) Brambles.  Listen carefully to the final 2 montages, "Europe's, Europe's, Europe's number one station" was replaced and a cut was added for the pips- which I have added.

Zip up that anorak, this lasts half an hour!
