Deltarune: Chapter 3 ~ Mike & Rook

Another planet’s ambient electromagnetic radiations converted into acoustic waves... Well okay it’s an abstract ambience made by messing around with noises and effects on my music-making software but hey, I try my best to make these sound like the recordings from actual planets’ emissions (check the desc for more info on this!). Also had more fun making the artwork than usual, since it’s the first one for which I’ve mainly used an oil painting brush for (and tweaking the shadows was an interesting exercise, too). I was aiming for some sort of mix between Venus and Io, but I think you can tell how it ended up drawing elements from planets all around the system… Which is quite nice to finish off that small series (read the full description on the Youtube video for more details on that).

It's important to keep in mind that even though this aims to mimic how actual planets sound like (based on the ones we have so far as references), I may sometimes use things that aren't based on how parts of the electromagnetic emission of a planet would render when turned into a sound… Nevertheless, I hope you’ll enjoy this abstract ambience c:

(I tried several times to edit the track so that SoundCloud's codec wouldn't wreck it, but since it seems to remain unsuccessful, I'll just leave it as it is; if you're curious to hear the less-wrecked version, you can check it on my YouTube channel. Curious whether the distorsion is caused by the fact I'm near my upload limit or not, but for now I couldn't tell... Anyways.)

(Keep in mind that the YouTube video may sound a bit different put aside the codec damages, since I changed the stereo width and true peak for the damages to be lowered on the SoundCloud version - maybe it wasn't of any help for the damage though, but I'm still unsure.)

Presenting “The Backstage”; this fanmade, concept area is supposed to be the equivalent of Cyber City and Scarlet Forest for chapter 3... At least, kind of. Its key gameplay elements revolve around fire and ice, along with some electricity shenanigans, and it is inspired by both Hotland and the Core from Undertale - with some other twists, of course.
Kris and their allies will be able to enter it after defeating Mike and Rook at a first fake fight, in the Camera Complex (serving as a sort of mini, mid-chapter dungeon). The vibes aimed to be given there are of an underground citadel, buried below the deserted dunes of Dusty Land, yet filled with both elemental and technological stuff. Yes, I didn’t know on which foot to dance on lol, but oh welp I guess it can create somewhat of an original atmosphere? Hopefully?
Anyways, I hope you’ll like it.

So as most of you may have noticed, there is a thing which has been going on for a few months in the Deltarune community, about making fanmade “leaks” of the third chapter (and sometimes beyond); and honestly? I absolutely love that. There’s some really awesome stuff to check out, whether it’s music, footage, designs - I find it impressive to see how much creative talent there is to be found within that community. * The other ones however, can't seem to bloom a single bit...

* Despite being too far from the light, a  flower keeps attempting to grow.

* Or stubbornness. Up to perspectives.

* A star-shaped lens. The shape sure looks familiar in many ways.
* Peeking through it, you can see the distorted view of a small plateau.
* Someone seems to be meditating there.
* You look away. It's rude to stare at people like that...

So huh, yeah, unplanned new secret boss OC for my deltarune take lol. Hope you enjoy. This is Morgan, and this track is her equivalent of what "Deal Gone Wrong" is for Spamton. If you wonder, yes she is based on a pipe organ.

Feeling like i'll start sharing more stuff about my imagined take on deltarune... Eventually.
Also prob gonna share more "smaller" stuff to keep myself active out there, while still having some bigger projects in the works :)

Hyrule's Genesis and the Mirage Ridge

Hans Zimmer is one of my favorite musicians, and an amazing source of musical inspiration. The "Interstellar" soundtrack being, to me, one of the best motion music scores in the history of movie, I tried making a fanmade arrangement for one of its scenes - and, in the process, I can say I learned a ton of things, especially about making movie soundtrack and orchestral stuff. Of course I'm far from reaching Hans Zimmer's level...So, for now, I just experiment, trying to make good movie music...

"Mountains", "No time for Caution", "Atmospheric Entry", "Detach", and the Interstellar main theme are the 5 themes that inspired me throughout the making.

DISCLAIMER : I own neither these themes, originally composed by Hans Zimmer, nor the image in the background from the movie "Interstellar". Interstellar is a sci-fi movie (one of the best ever created) by Christopher Nolan, a genuine film director, screenwriter and producer.

"Planet Miller" is a small series of fanmade arrangements related to Miller's Planet from Interstellar. So far, I've only made this first one, "Descent", which is for the "Atmospheric Entry" scene...But a few other scenes might get their fanmade music too !

It took me a total of 50+ hours of work, maybe 60, to do this arrangement. It's the first time ever I do such an ambitious music (the mixing and mastering were increasingly harder over time), and I know it's still far from being perfect...But I'm still quite happy with the result ! And I'll keep in mind every possible improvement for the next arrangements ^^

A while ago, when Gooseworx published the original music BlackHole Blitz, I liked it so much that I used to listen to it on loop. Then, someday, the idea of making a cover/remix of it came to my mind.
I worked on it a while, then gave up, then came back to finish it, though I'm a bit disappointed to have ended a bit far from the original track...So, well, sorry about that everyone ;w;

BlackHole Chill (BlackHole Blitz wide ambient Cover)

I discovered Debussy's music by chance while listening to piano music on Youtube. His piano track Clair de Lune directly seduced me, but I also enjoy Passepied a lot, which is also part of the Suite Bergamasque. I thought about making an ambient cover of it, and during the process, decided to make it sound "ethereal". I also decided to stay with a piano MIDI track only, because I realized after playing around with chords and clock sounds that the piano itself was enough.

I have to admit that I changed a lot the layout of the track, but the main theme can be heard in several ways in this arrangement. It was to make it more "ambient space/night-ish" so, yeah, sorry if I deceived some people ;w;

Claude Debussy was a French Composer of the late 19th / early 20th century. He developed a composing style related to Impressionism, though he didn't liked that term much. He was a true musical genius and is the composer of Clair de Lune, Rêverie, Arabesque 1 & 2 and other famous piano tracks.

Passemuraille (Suite Bergamasque, Passepied ethereal arrangement)

After making an ambient cover of Blackhole Blitz, some people asked me (and I was also thinking about it) to do a cover of Starlane Stroll (which I also love, because it has the unique Gooseworx feel yet it also reminds me of the Super Mario Galaxy series a bit, so I couldn't resist. I waited a while before actually starting it, but recently I decided to get it done for real, and after 2 days and a half of work it's done ! ^^ 
Well, I know that it sounds a bit "empty" maybe, but as I was bringing details I felt like adding too much would've made it not as "Lullaby" as I wanted to. I also brought some original parts, but tried to stay more focused on the main theme than I did on Blackhole Chill...Anyway, I hope you like it ! :D

This is my third cover on this channel, and the second of a Gooseworx's music (and it's very likely that it's not the last one !), and more will come in the future ^^ (I'm quite unable to give delays though, my upload schedule is broken and unpredictable, even for myself x3)
